How long does the battery last?
In sensor or timer mode, several weeks on a full charge, because the pump only runs when it is needed. Charging takes a few hours over the included USB cable. Leave it plugged in if you want the continuous stream.
Is it really silent?
The pump runs under 25 dB, which is quieter than a whisper. The only sound you will notice is the soft trickle of the stream when it pours.
How do I clean it?
Lift out the pump unit, tip the water out and rinse the stainless tank and tray under the faucet. A quick rinse every few days and a wipe once a week keeps it spotless. Nothing sticks to stainless the way it does to plastic.
Do I need the filters?
The fountain works without them. The carbon filters catch hair and food crumbs and soften the taste of tap water, so most owners change one every 3 to 4 weeks. Standard replacement filters are inexpensive and easy to find.
