Charge at home, top up in the sun, clip it on and go.
Fill it from the wall first
Plug into any USB charger via Type-C. Four blue LEDs show the level. A full charge from a wall outlet takes a few hours — do it before you leave, not on the trail.
Unfold the panels in the sun
Open the three hinged panels, clip it to your pack with the carabiner and let it trickle-charge through the day. Solar is a slow top-up, not a replacement for the wall.
Pull out the cable you need
Type-C, Lightning and Micro-USB cables live in the side of the unit. Pull one out, plug in, done. Hold the power button for the flashlight (steady, SOS, strobe).
