How It Works

Press a ball of clay onto the wheel
Wet your hands, press a fist-sized lump of the included clay onto the centre of the turntable and switch on the controller.
Shape it while it spins
Cup the clay with both hands, push a thumb into the middle, and a bowl opens up. The tools trim the rim and add patterns.
Let it dry, then paint
Leave the piece overnight — the air-dry clay hardens by itself — then paint it with the twelve colours on the flower palette.

It's pottery, so hands get muddy — that's half the fun. Put a tray or newspaper under the wheel, keep a bowl of water nearby, and everything washes off with soap and water. The paints are water-based.
